Who do you spend time with?

“the commanders of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?” (v3)

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked.” (Psalm 1:1a)

“These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise.” (Psalm 42:4)

Want to know whose side you are on? – look at your relationships

What are you known for?

“Is not this David, of whom they sing to one another in dances.” (v5)

“I know that you are as blameless in my sight as an angel of God.” (v9)

“. . . nor stands in the way of sinners” (Psalm 1:1b)

“an overseer must be above reproach” (1 Timothy 3:2)

What have you done?

“And David said to Achish, “But what have I done?” (v8)

“. . . nor sits in the seat of scoffers”  (Psalm 1:1c)

Jesus said, “If you love me you will obey my commandments.”

 (John 14:15)

“For our sake, he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
