Scripture: Jude 17-25
Remember God’s Word
“But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (v17)
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
Walk in God’s Way
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit.” (v20)
“There is a way that seems right to man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)
Share God’s Mercy
“Have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.” (v22-23)
“Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food . . .” (Matthew 25:34-36)
Trust in God’s Power
“To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy .” (v24)
“The steps of man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand.” (Psalm 37:23-24)
