Trust God for Blessings

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Remember God’s Blessings
“When Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his older son and said to him, ‘My son’; and he answered, ‘Here I am’. He said, ‘Behold, I am old; I do not know the day of my death’.” (v1-2)
“So he went in to his father and said, ‘My father’. And he said, ‘Here I am. Who are you, my son?’ (v18)
“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. (Psalm 77:11-12)
Be Patient with the Timing of God’s Blessings
“His father Isaac said to him, ‘Who are you?’ He answered, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau’.” (v32)
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)
